Singapore Seeks to Open Vaccinated-Travel Lanes to More Countries

Oct.10 — Singapore Transport Minister S. Iswaran discusses the government’s plan to further reopen its borders to revive travel. The government said over the weekend it will allow vaccinated travelers from nine more countries including the U.S. and U.K. to enter without having to quarantine. As many as 3,000 people are expected to enter the island city daily under the expanded vaccinated travel lanes, or VTLs, according to the government.
